Master's degrees in Management

International students on master's degree in Canada

At Royal Roads University, 70% of students are pursuing graduate degrees; this is the highest percentage of any university in Canada. The delivery of graduate programs is the foundation of the public university which today offers 21 professional master's degrees, 1 doctoral degree and 18 graduate certificates.

Choice of master's degrees for international students

International students wishing to pursue a top quality graduate degree in Canada have 2 choices at Royal Roads University. Both these exceptional master's programs are taught 100% on campus:

Other Royal Roads University master's degrees are delivered in a blended learning format. Blended format students do most of the program online and come to campus for up to 6 weeks residency (usually 3 x 2 week residencies). International students must apply for a study permit for these blended programs. Canadian Immigration and Citizenship states that if the overall course of study is greater than 6 months, the student requires a study permit for the in-Canada portion of the program, even if that portion is less than 6 months.

Preparation for master's degree success

International students who do not yet meet the English language requirements for a master's degree or who want to improve their graduate-level study skills, can first join the Pre-Master's Program at the International Study Centre.

Gain Canadian work experience

Both master's degrees include an internship component providing the opportunity to gain Canadian work experience for up to 6 months after graduation. Our graduates leave with the skills employers want. International students wishing to prolong their
experience in Canada may apply for a work permit or permanent residency.
