Today's managers must perpetually weigh considerations about people, planet and profit when making business decisions. This Business Administration degree is designed to enable students to foster sustainable and responsible businesses and organizations in a globally competitive environment.
The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Sustainability and International Business is a unique degree program providing a blend of social science, commerce and technology courses.
In Year 1, you study a common academic curriculum. In Year 2 you increasingly focus on subjects related to business administration.
In Year 3 and 4, you engage in coursework and team projects with a range of diverse colleagues on campus. In addition, you will do an applied practicum - Business Field School - at an organization either in Canada or internationally, gaining you valuable real-world work experience.
Business administration; international marketing; cross-cultural organizational behaviour; environmental and corporate responsibility; sustainability accounting; economics and statistics.
Years 1 and 2 combine full academic courses with English language and study skills to support international students' academic studies. Years 3 and 4 of the BBA program are taught over a standard 2 year period.
Students must earn 120 credits (30 credits per year) to complete the degree program.
There are 26 hours per week of class time, including an academic advisory hour.
