Studying abroad requires students to adjust to a new country, different lifestyle and academic schedule. Last week the International Study Centre (ISC) at Royal Roads University welcomed new international students that arrived to the ISC from different corners of the world. The ISC faculty conducted insightful orientation sessions followed by a fun team-building curling game to make students feel welcome. Curling is a sport in which players slide stones on a sheet of ice towards a target area which is segmented into four concentric circles.
New students at the ISC have already started their classes, with programs ranging from Global Tourism Management to International Hotel Management.
The International Study Centre at Royal Roads University wishes them a great start and a successful semester!
